Blank Newspaper Projects

‘Nothing in the News’ is the name of a newspaper project from Sideline Collective that removes the contents of print publications around the world. The finished products feature empty columns and blocks where texts and images can usually be found, with only a recognizable logo of the newspapers remaining.

As part of the newspaper project, which offers a commentary on the amount of information that people are inundated with daily, Sideline Collective has modified newspapers such as Le Monde, The Times and The Sun.

While the newspapers might not seem to offer anything of value to readers, the creators of the project explain that “we offer the one thing you need more than anything else: ‘nothing.'”
