The conceptual Aviointeriors ‘Janus’ seat has been designed as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic that could work to keep passengers separate during their flight. The design includes rows of three seats with the middle seat turned the opposite way, which is then wrapped with a protective plastic barrier that envelops each sitter individually. This would work to give each passenger their own space, while also increasing ones feeling of isolation as they enjoy the flight.
