After Hurricane Irma swept across Florida, Miami Beach is back and ready to welcome visitors.
Over the weekend, the city celebrated the lifting of the midnight curfew in typical Miami Beach fashion—with a “Break the Curfew” party.
The mayor emailed residents on Friday to make the announcement: “It is my pleasure to bring you good news,” said Philip Levine. “Miami Beach’s curfew has been lifted. After a citywide effort to quickly bring the city back to normalcy, we are making incredible progress.”
Attractions have reopened their doors and hotels and restaurants are buzzing with patrons following the storm.
