The dawn of the autonomous bar might not be as far as away as one might think. Italian architect Carlo Ratti recently revealed his concept for a driverless robotic bar that will offer individuals in busy urban areas on-demand cocktails. Dubbed ‘Guido,’ the idea is much like another project by Ratti. Last year, the architect collaborated with Makr Shakr on app-controlled robotic bartenders. Extracting the essence of that idea, Carlo Ratti further evolves the concept to a mobile autonomous bar with two mechanical arms “that can accurately prepare and serve any drink within seconds.”
