The conceptual Microsoft Surface Note seen here is one part smartphone and one part tablet to offer consumers a new way to think about mobile productivity.
Featuring a folding design, the device works as a traditional smartphone on the regular, but can be unfolded to reveal a tablet-sized screen for getting work of all kinds done wherever you are. This is thanks to the Windows operating system that seamlessly switches between phone mode and tablet mode thanks to the unified experience that Microsoft has created. This is different from brands like Apple who have two different operating systems for mobile devices and computers, which can be limiting in certain ways for users.
The conceptual Microsoft Surface Note is the design work of Ryan Smalley and imagines a user experience that is more cohesive to address the changing needs of consumers.
